Perinatal Counseling

Blossom Counseling offers evidence-based practices, such as CBT, to help new parents cope with the many adjustments related to having a baby. Other approaches, such as EMDR and mindfulness practices, are utilized to manage and treat symptoms associated with traumatic histories.

Perinatal counseling focuses on reducing symptoms of depression, anxiety, and emotional challenges accompanied by hormonal shifts; and increasing healthy relationships, support systems, and adaptive coping skills.
